This puzzle features a replica of the ship used by Captain James Cook on his historic voyage to Australia and New Zealand. The vessel arrived in Whitby to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Cook’s first scientific expedition to the Pacific in 1768.
The original Endeavour was first registered as the Earl of Pembroke when it was built in Whitby by shipbuilder Thomas Fishburn in 1764. Designed as a Whitby Cat for coal transport, the ship was later commissioned by the Royal Navy and re-registered as HM Bark Endeavour.
Whitby is steeped in history, from its rich fishing heritage and jet industry—still renowned as the best place to find the gleaming black gemstone beloved by the Victorians—to its connections with Captain Cook and whaling. The town also holds a place in literary history, as Bram Stoker’s Dracula famously comes ashore here from Transylvania, taking the form of a black dog.

Pre-Orders
If you have ordered a puzzle design which is marked as Pre-Order, it will be dispatched when we receive the design in our warehouse. If there is a delay and we do not receive the design within expected time-frame, we will let you know via email. We are happy to cancel your order at any time until it has been packed.
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipping rates & delivery estimates
We offer $9.95 Flat Rate shipping to 70% of all Australians. This means that no matter how many items you order, your shipping will be $9.95. Unfortunately, due to the costs of delivery to metro and rural areas, we have to charge slightly more for delivery to those areas. Metro - $12.95, Rural - $14.95. (In most cases the shipping costs us more than we charge and the discount prices we offer on many of our puzzles make it difficult for us to discount the shipping further.) The shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Please be aware that during peak times, delivery delays can occasionally occur.
Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
